Travers Ross
Born and bred in Coffs Harbour, Travers has toured outback Australia and countries around the globe, working with Indigenous people. He has studied dance on all levels from the best in the biz (Hollywood/NY/Brazil) to natural world dance.
He is developing a never ending goal of limitless movement and has evolved a unique style he now claims as his own. This style is abstract, very earthy and new. It is challenging and combines hip hop (Break, popping and Locking) contemporary, Cabaret, Warping (trip hop), jazz, and world cultures.
He compares dancing to life and broadens dancers creative minds in being Organic and having meaning in their movement.
